Human

When humanity first arrived in Palioxis, one of their ships, Virshill, crashed on the the rocky arid surface of the planet Secundus. The survivors were able to start a new civilization by salvaging their ship and using it's hull for shelter. 

Secundus has a rich and diverse culture, influenced by the various backgrounds and origins of its human colonists. The planet has a common language, called Virshillan, that is derived from English and other languages. The planet has various religions, philosophies, and ideologies, that coexist or conflict with each other. The planet has various forms of art, music, literature, and entertainment, that reflect the creativity and expression of its people. The planet also has various traditions, festivals, and holidays, that celebrate the history and achievements of its society.

Secundus has a complex and dynamic political situation, shaped by the interests and goals of its human factions. The Virshill Confederacy is not a unified or stable entity, but rather a collection of independent or allied states, organizations, and groups. The confederacy faces various challenges and threats, such as internal disputes, external enemies, environmental issues, and ethical dilemmas. The confederacy also has various allies and rivals, such as other human factions, alien races, or interstellar entities. The confederacy strives to maintain its freedom and sovereignty.

The remaining ship, Osca, did not crash, but found itself floating in space near the planet Secundus. It took them some time to stabilize their own situation and and locate their sister ship. The UEP forces aboard Osca were low on manpower and supplies, and they tried to convince the Virshillians to come with them. However, the settlers on Secundus declared their independence from the UEP. The commanding officer of Osca, General Valerius, declared the settlers to be traitors and declared war on them.

The forces of Osca, were outnumbered, running out of supplies, and did not have an understanding of the dangers on the surface of Secundus. After a few weeks of battle, the General Valerius gave the order to retreat, and Osca left Secundus.

Osca eventually arrived upon a planet that would make a new homeworld, a safe place for them to regain their strength. After years of trying to contact Earth of any other UEP forces, General Valerius declared that Osca and her crew were no longer part of the UEP, they were now the Oscand Empire; and the new world Valoris would be their capital.
